What You're Agreeing To
By using Little Archive, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We keep these terms straightforward because the service itself is straightforward.
What Little Archive Does
Little Archive is a web-based tool that helps you migrate photos from a Seesaw school app export into your Google Photos account. You upload a zip file exported from Seesaw, we process the photos and preserve caption metadata, and we upload them to your Google Photos library.
Little Archive performs a one-time migration. It does not provide ongoing synchronization between Seesaw and Google Photos. Each upload is processed once, and the service does not monitor or re-sync your Seesaw account.
The maximum supported upload size is 2 GB per archive. If your export exceeds this limit, contact us at support@littlearchive.app and we can help.
Your Responsibilities
- You must have the legal right to the Seesaw export you upload. Typically this means you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose journal you are migrating.
- You are responsible for authorizing Little Archive to access your Google Photos account via OAuth. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your own Google account. We cannot recover photos on your behalf if you lose access to your Google account after upload.
- You are responsible for maintaining your own copy of the Seesaw export. Little Archive is not a backup service and does not retain your files after processing.
Payment and Refunds
During early access, the service is free and no payment is required. The following terms apply when paid plans are enabled.
Little Archive charges a one-time fee per journal processed. The price is displayed before you pay — you can preview your photos and captions before any payment is required.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment credentials.
Refund eligibility depends on the outcome of your migration:
- Full failure (zero photos uploaded): You are entitled to an automatic full refund.
- Google storage full: If your migration fails because your Google account has insufficient storage, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Partial success: If some but not all photos were uploaded due to a technical error on our end, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us and we will work with you.
- Wrong file uploaded: If you upload a file that is not a Seesaw export, refunds are not available, as the issue is identified during the free preview step before payment.
- Completed uploads: We do not offer refunds for completed uploads where photos were successfully delivered to your Google Photos account.

What We Don't Guarantee
We do our best to process every photo and caption in your Seesaw export accurately, but we cannot guarantee that every file will be parsed correctly. Seesaw export formats vary by school, subscription tier, and version. If we encounter files we can't process, we'll let you know during the preview step.
Little Archive depends on the Google Photos API to upload your photos. We do not guarantee the availability, performance, or stability of the Google Photos API, which is operated by Google LLC and subject to their own terms and conditions. If Google changes or discontinues their API, it may affect our ability to provide the service.
Little Archive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Archive's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific transaction.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of photos, or inability to access your Google Photos account.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the photos and content in your Seesaw export. We do not claim ownership of any content you upload. As described in our Privacy Policy, your files are deleted from our servers immediately after a successful upload to Google Photos.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't have the right to use
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Little Archive at any time. If we discontinue the service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Changes to pricing will not affect transactions already completed.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
